Rear end sounds like an airplane

When I had a bad bearing on my Corolla, 1 mechanic misdiagnose it as bad brake, 1 mechanic misdiagnose it as bad transmission, and 1 that race after getting off work said it is the bearing.

It is really an art unless you have audio sensor mount on the wheel while driving it over all sorts of road conditions.

I figure if I am paying labor & taking the day off from work to have a wheel bearing done, I might as well pay extra and have both done. Same cost in time to me. On one car I had one replaced, then the other six months later. On the other car the mechanic checked both sides, and both felt bad once the axles were popped out of the way, but only one side was making noise.
