rear defroster issuede

On my 98 Saturn I noticed defroster wasn't working. I noticed the wire that plug into the glass came off . The wire is still plugged into the socket but the socket came loose from the glass. Can I simply just glue it back or is It a little more complicated. I've never messed with this stuff ever so I want to be sure. Thanks all

You can buy repair kits for the grids on the glass but I haven't seen any repair kits for the tabs. You can't glue it because power needs to go thru the plug to the glass grids. You will need to soldier it back on.

There is a repair kit for repairing loose tabs. Check at a auto parts store. You don't solder.
