Realtors in Florida

Cheap cabinetry and appliances stand out to me. Of course I assume those can be spec'd higher.
Yeah a base build...already sold
Cabinets no longer thrill me. In the early 80s we had customers drop $30 to $50k on Cabinets and the Ole lady would get bored and toss them in 5 years...

That house completed with the ground is only $406k.....
You don't get much for $406k at 3000 sq ft...
Cheap living

Another tax video
Most good realtors can give you a tax estimate for the next year....
See if @Tharber likes this one.
I don't see the gov.... doing much..

Every single FL realtor is required to disclose the fact that property taxes will go up after the purchase. Title companies do as well and the title company will give an estimated future tax rate to the lender.

I agree with this guy to some extent but he doesn't understand as much as he thinks he does. He mentions nothing about additional exemptions such as military, retired, disabled, etc. We also have homesteqd portability which means if I sell my house that was capped at his $200,000 rate and buy at $500,000 part of what I have paid will be applied to the new purchase.

Mil rates can and do go up, they also go down based on the total tax rolls.

Fair information but don't let him scare you away from FL, its still cheaper than NY.

I am not sure I holistically agree the article homes are not selling because they aew prices to high.

Homes as suggested in the article are not selling because the seller did not keep updating the home, and wants to be paid per square foot the same price as a updated, well kept home.

Unless the floorplan is off, the lot location is off, or the home has not had proper updates, every single home in the US goes under contract in days after being listed that is fully priced at comparable square foot prices.

Our subdivision is a perfect example. Subdivision has a major turn over of homes every spring. The only homes that didn't go under contract days after listing simply have a bad floorplan, funky decoration, or undesirable lot. Yet all of these homes want the same price per square feet as homes that went under contract days after listing.

Sure cannot disagree BUT it's always their prices are too high.

This was a well built house but with very drab cabinets and bad designer choices on flooring etc.
The kitchen had milk chocolate brown cabinets....ruined everything
