My Audi TTS is used on street and track. I was using an excellent track-focused oil (300V) that has no approvals, and have now moved to a track-capable oil with VW504 approval, which includes stringent criteria for sludge and deposits (key for street use). Moving from a 5W40 to a 5W30 for track use might appear counter-intuitive, but the Ravenol has a high HTHS (3.7) and is what Audi specifies for their TCR race cars. This would seem to be the best of both worlds, and the UOA report does seem to support this.

The results of the first fill with the VMP 5W30 is influenced by the residual 300V, so I do not take that as representative.

Pb is elevated.. do you intend to have the same driving type for the current fill? If it's still elevated then can't blame residual at that point.

New fill is same oil, driving pattern should be similar. One wild card regarding Pb is that I fill up at the track 2-3 times per event, and that may be a source. If that is the case, the Pb level should bounce around 2-4. If it increases above 5 next time, it will certainly have my attention.
