Mobil 1 Extended Performance but i don't know anything about it. they are all very good though whichever is cheapest is the best overall. i ran valvoline and mobil 1 in my moms focus and it performed very well i will say the only synthetic i do not care for is the pennzoil platinum every car i put it in used a noticeable amount.

The old Edge SM was very good, but users seem unimpressed with the SN version.
RP is no doubt good, but is it good enough to justify the price?
M1 in any flavor is a good pick.
Vanilla (black bottle) Syntec is nothing special, although GC in the same black bottle is very good for the price.
Synpower provides the prettiest used oil analysis on moderate drain intervals.
If you want bragging rights for low wear metals in a used oil analysis, Synpower is a good pick.
G-Oil appears to be capable of this as well, on 5-6K drains.
I guess what I'm saying is that these are all good oils.
The only one on your list I haven't used is RP, and only becuase the price has never come down to my comfort zone.
None of these oils can be called "best" based upon any reasonable measure.

My vote:

1. Mobil 1 Extended Performance
2. Mobil 1
3. Valvoline Synpower
4. Royal Purple (This far down because of price)
5. Castrol Edge w/ Titanium
6. Castrol Edge black bottle

Remember...purely my OP.

1) Synpower
2) Mobil 1 Extended Performance
3) Mobil 1
4) Royal Purple
5) Edge W/ Titan.
6) Edge Black bottle

There should be at least 4 lists/ratings from each participant.

You asked for engine protection, cleaning ability, longevity, and 'etc.'.
