I’d let them know you’re not happy.
I felt that way when a plumber came, talked my ear off about what kind of women I like (really), then the next day the fittings leaked. At the time I used compression fittings to redo his work, after nobody called me back to fix the leak.
When they sent the bill which was $300 in 2004, I called and left a message. I’m not paying anything. Never heard from them again and I got a free mapp gas torch that he left behind, as a parting gift
