Had a good day after Christmas range day. Went through 50 rounds of the Winchester 38 special 158 Grain LRN in my 3 inch Smith and Wesson 686 plus deluxe. First time shooting these. They seem more "dirty" than other cartridges but shot very well.

All shots were in Double action and 10 yards/30 feet away. A couple outliers when I went for a little quicker shot. I've only owned a gun for 6 weeks so I'm still working on consistency.

I have a 586 and love it. Trigger, hammer, and sear work makes it the most accurate of any of my pistols. With a 6" barrel and a Nickel plating, it's a beauty. A Pachmayr grip rounds out the great handling capabilities.

Any day at the range with a S&W revolver is a good one. My 4in 686 is one of my favorites.
Yea I absolutely love mine. So much fun, especially with American Gunner HP. Fireball comes out of the muzzle 😂
