While on the road yesterday, I was passed by a Ram with the words Power Wagon emblazoned on the tailgate. Has Dodge-Ram-Chrysler-Stellantis-Whatever brought back the Power Wagon name? Did it ever go away and perhaps I've just not seen it for a few years?

Googled just for you.....Easy to do.

Does Dodge still make a Power Wagon?

The RAM line-up of trucks has been dominating the industry for many years now, and this will continue into 2022 with the release of the 2022 RAM 2500 Power Wagon. The Power Wagon has been around since 1945, and just recently had its 75th anniversary in 2021.

Not where I am at this time. Thanks for your help, though.

I dunno if that’s going to work...at least for me, when I hear Ram, I think of a ho-hum everyday Dodge pickup trim line. When I hear Power Wagon, I think of a descendant of the WWII trucks and something that’s more tough and powerful than any Ram (and hopefully looks good, too!)

They have made the power wagon for a few years. It's basically a RAM 2500 heavy duty with larger tires, some lift, and usually a big V8. It's really just a trim package.

Theyve been around 15 years or so.

It was the 2500 with the 5.7 originally. Lol.

Sway-bar disconnects and front and rear locking differentials. The newer ones have the 6.4.

They are bring out a limited edition Power Wagon with a 4BT Cummins...

The Power Wagon features off-road-tuned suspension, electronically locking differentials, an electronic sway bar disconnects, and a 12,000 lb winch.

Basically a 3/4 ton gas truck with off-road capabilities, but with the towing and hauling capabilities of a loaded 1/2 ton pickup.

This is a discussion board. You could likely Google about 90% of what is discussed here. Not fun. I would rather shoot the breeze with the members. BTW, a Power Wagon will always look exactly like Rick Simon's truck on Simon and Simon in my mind.

I loved the capabilities, but the graphics were a turn-off for me.

Then I discovered the Tradesman with the Power Wagon package.

Bought it new off the lot!
