radio control nitro fuel

i have two r/c trucks. both have a 3.3 cc two stroke, hp u/k but i think its about 2-3 hp, 35,000 rpm. normally i use nitro 20-30%, oil 10%, methanol rest. the trouble is i mix my own by volume. i was told that this way might not be accurate. and i understand why. what i need is an accurate way without buying a hydrometer. i think that useing weighing and volume together may work. thanks

I have been blending my own for quite sometime. First starting in airplanes and then moving to Cars. I have a Revo 3.3 and a 4.6 MGT and both run on my 30% actually much cooler then they did on sidewinder.

I have been usinf Klotz super techniplate. It has 20% bean oil castor.

to: mechtech2 yep those little angines have have a very short stroke. about .5 to.625 aprox.

What do they idle at? 9,000?

Mine idle at around 1200. If they idle to fast the clutch will engage and the vehicle will move or lug and die. My big block idles a little higher

I have a mach 427 that can turn 43k rpm. Peak power is at 26k rpm though. I also have an Axial .28, not as much rpm but good power. You just gear differently for each engine. The 427 with stock gearing has a ton of power and plenty of top end speed.

At those insane RPMs, is there a gyroscope effect somehow?

does not seem to be, the parts are very small. they are so fast one needs lots of room to run them.

can i ask a diff queston? ok here goes. could e-85 casoline be used in a scale nitro engine. my idea is this, gasoline and nitro are more alike than any other fuel. i think that gasoline will auto ignite like nitro/methanol. may need to and dilute the gasoline with methanol. what think?
