Radiator - online retailers and MFG

1993 Accord radiator needed.

I looked at quite a few: CSF, Spectra (SPI), Koyo and Denso (too much $$$ new), Performance and now Proliance. Amazon sells a Proliance 432207 Proliance for my car for $67USD. Questions: Proliance any good? I don't need a Koyo but I don't want complete [censored] either. Any other suggestions for online rad retailers and MFG would be appreciated.

Ron, thanks so much. Canadians are getting HOSED on many things - auto parts being one. RockAuto carries the SPI rad for $67; locally the same part is $150CDN!!

i bought one a while back at an autozone on a sunday for less than $100 for an '95 accord.
don't remember the make, but perfect fit

I am currently using a CSF plastic tank, so far so good. The CSF all brass/copper radiator is junk though, so do not get that.

I think I also have a proliance plastic tank unit on my mom's car and that's fine too. Most of them are pretty good these days, no need to get Koyo or Denso, they aren't a lot better.

+1 I've ordered radiators (and gas tanks) from them with the cheapest shipping possible and still gotten the next day. Don't forget the 5% coupon. Quality is good and it's usually the brand Advance carries locally at 150% the price (taking space on a shelf is pricey I guess).

The sad irony is that SPI (I think) is a Canadian company!! I can get it for $80 cheaper down in the States?

I googled around and found a cheap one for my 2000 CRV from radiator.com (iirc) and they had it to my house in 30 minutes. They even left it where I told them!
