Radiator hose weep

I have a weeper on the bottom radiator hose connection because there is no bead on the radiator outlet. Used some sealant but had to go to two clamps.

It's leaking again! Started when the temp dropped to 25F, tightened it a few times and it won't stop.

Guessing it's time for some Hylomar or some Indian Head Shellac? I'm trying to think if I should replace the housing too. Which means a new tstat (current one is a year old). That part isn't leaking so I'm hesitant to touch that. Thoughts?
