I know this leak stop product is not recommended, but I have a question. If the R134 is to be installed with can upright and as a gas, how does the leak stop enter the system? instuctions on can say to shake first, then rotate can as it goes in. SO my question if you just hold the can still, will only R134 go in, and the leak stop remain in the can??

Or walk on the wild side and try Redtek from Canadian Tire or Duracool from Walmart. I have used both with excellent results in my old 1997 Tercel and I found they leaked out of the sytem at a much slower rate than R134.
Is the stop leak the only one that's in stock nearby?

Who knows, not worth the risk of contaminating your A/C system with it. And screwing up the shops recovery machine in the future.
You can buy a filter to remove it but its not cost effective for a can or 2

The stop leak added to everything is mostly because of patent infringements (something like that) and might not amount to much, as in the amounts might actually be too tiny to be meaningful or otherwise be a placebo.
I have found out the stop leak is just to get around the patent on R134a. It may be a drop of some substance to just change the formula enoght to get around the patent. R134a patent now expired so the stop leak product may go away, although there are enough people around that may want to use it to fix a leaky system
