I have 4 quarts of the Formula Shell that was on-sale at Walgreens last week. 3 qts. are 10W-40, 1 is 10w30. I need to mix in one more quart of something to get to my 5 qt application - a rarely used Chevy 350.

Of the following, what would be the best conventional to mix with? I have Pennzoil, Quaker State, Valvoline and old Havoline. All are 10w30.

Thanks men.

SOPUS is Shell. Penn, And QS, so these likely have similar/same add packs and even base oils.

That's a pretty big assumption.

It's also an incorrect one.

Shell has wells and refineries. Penn and QS don't I think and unless locked into contracts with others would get their base oil from shell and also the add pack, or at least buy from the same place.
