Questions about Amsoil grease

I need some grease for boat trailer bearings, I noticed something on Amsoil's website.

If you look at the technical properties the water resistant grease has a higher % loss in the water washout test vs. the heavy duty grease. What gives?

They are all water resistant, they just happen to put that description on that one. IMHO the GHD is the better grease.

I ran some hot water (too hot to touch) over some of their R2000 grease for a couple of minutes and it barely noticed it.

"You are correct. In the ASTM D-1264 test, the GHD does have somewhat better results. But the more important test for wheel bearing used in direct contact with water, like the boat trailer, is the Water Spray Off test, ASTM D-4049. Results are much poorer on the GHD, and are not even reported for this product."
