Amsoil states that their coolant is acceptable for use in Honda vehicles. I use and trust Amsoil products, but don't know a great deal about coolant. I have heard that Honda Type II coolant has no silica and uses some other non-standard chemistry relative to other coolant offerings. I am looking for thumbs up/down opinions about using Amsoil coolant in Honda vehicles. Thanks in advance for your replies.

A mix might not be so great, but if you can drain all the old stuff out, the Amsoil will be fine.
