Question about mass air flow sensor

I just did a full tune up on my car 200miles ago and it still was running like c-rap then i put a new mass air flow sensor and now my car runs good just wondering since i drove 200miles with a bad mass air flow sensor couldve possibly messed up my new spark plugs or wires?
