Quaker State Ultimate Durability 5w30 OCI suggestion

Vehicle: 2003 Subaru Outback, H4 2.5 engine.
Oil: Quaker State Ultimate Durability 5w30 API SN
Oil filter: old stock blue PureOne
Factory requirements: API SL or higher, 5w30 for most conditions. 3750 miles "severe service"/7500 miles "normal service"

Driving conditions:
Chicago city traffic about 1 or 2 days every 1-2 weeks, stop and go.
Car may sit in parking garage for up to 2 weeks without being needed.
At least 1 if not 2 planned 1500 mile trips between now and May.

Thoughts? I normally run conventional to 5k miles, which is 5-7 months depending on life. Figuring this oil can likely go 7500 easy, maybe closer to 9-10k.
No plans for an UOA, so this is entirely suggestion.

Assuming the engine is in fine operating shape with no problems, since you're not going to get a used oil analysis to confirm that it's OK to go longer, I'd just run it for 7500.

Judging by the different needs, I'd stick with the Quaker State Ultimate Durability.

You are currently set-up perfectly calendar-wise. You can change your oil (using conventional) in relatively nice weather twice a year (fall - spring).

If you are looking for a 10K oil to change once a year, I would upgrade to Pennzoil Platinum, Pennzoil Ultra, Mobil 1 Extended Performance, Amsoil, German Castrol....etc. Personally, I wouldn't trust Quaker State that long.

I'd say it's safe to run it up to 7500 miles. Would not run it past that however.

Quaker State Ultimate Durability should be fine as well.

Quaker State Ultimate Durability is a fantastic oil,and you are most likely safe at the 7.5k mark for a starting point 10k may be a stretch without a used oil analysis. Some run conventional to 7.5k. Personally i keep it to around the 5k mark for my oci with Quaker State Conventional. I have also been bouncing around the idea of the 7.5k mark with Quaker State Ultimate Durability for my oci due to a twice yearly oci in spring and fall.I can say that the Trailblazer in my sig on it's previous run of Quaker State Ultimate Durability took it to a little over 14k on 5-30 Quaker State Ultimate Durability before hitting the 3% mark on it's OLM, admittedly that is about 90% hwy/10% city much more favorable conditions for oil to run in. I normally try to change at the 5% mark so it went a little over. Your conditions are different so i don't suggest doing so with your Subaru. All around it is a good oil especially at the $20 price point it is currently running in my area.

If I had anything resembling a disposable income I would do a used oil analysis to get a baseline, but that money can be used for the next oil change right now.

I have Pennzoil Platinum 5w30 in right now that has been in for about 5k miles. Was planning on running it to 7500 or more, but just had some engine work done, so I'd rather have fresh oil in to be safe.
