Quaker State 5w-20 is PAO

I was looking something up and saw that besides the 5-50 , 5-30 and 10-30 synthetics Q-State now makes the 5w-20 is also a full pao basestock oil .

Is anyone using the 5w-20 Quaker State ?

I just checked the specs and it doesn't look much better than 5W-20 Pennzoil. Especially when you can get Pennzoil for less than $1 on sale!

motorbike, doublecheck your info. I haven't had a chance to look at the 30 wts, but the 5w20 is not PAO.

Its Hydrotreated base oil, probably g2/g3 would be my guess. Too bad, I got excited there for a while.

Open the link again and look at # 14953 , it's the one for the synthetics .

They have two 5-20s now , the one you saw was the dino .
