QSUD vs Valvoline

Been running the QSUD due to $2.99 a quart on sale and after in-store rebate the last few changes. Last change I put Valvoline synthetic in due to finding five jugs on clearance for 13.99 each. They're both good oils. The only difference the stood out to me was a slightly lower pourpoint with the QSUD when reviewing the product information.

I bought a whole bunch of it for $9.00 a jug on clearance a few years ago.

Agree! Been a long-long time since anyone last posted specs on physical fiction oils.

Both of my local Wal-Mart's carry it and I say it in the Wal-Mart in Pendleton, OR this morning. Your Wal-Mart will more than likely carry it online.

I love Valvoline . I like mobil1 as well but I doubt these more expensive products make much difference.
That being said I can't see why a guy should pay more for qsud than supertech full synthetic either. Both meet the same specs and should be fine for the manufacturers suggested oci.

Long ways from home Johnny. Great town. Been there a few times.

My local Walmart didn't have QSUD in 0W20, so I bought Pennzoil Platinum 0W20 for $22 instead. Tried to get the $10 rebate, but apparently Walmart isn't part of the rebate program.

I just bought some Pennzoil Platinum HM for my aunt's car from WM and she received a rebate in the mail in less than two weeks.

Why is GTL better? I have QSUD for the next oil change for both my vehicles.

How did you get it? I went on to their website and Walmart is apparently not a participating store location.

Just checked out their website and form for the rebate...I guess they changed it. I submitted the rebate for the promotion that ended on June 30th. Walmart was on that drop down list when I did it. Guess this new promotion doesn't have walmart anymore. They don't even have any of the common auto parts stores listed on there either...very strange.

I've seen many pictures of varnished up engines that were run exclusively on M1. It's all about how well the engine was cared for moreover than the oil used. I've seen many engines run on dino only that are squeaky clean.

How many miles do you go on your Accord before changing the oil?
