All things being equal (price, availability, etc) would you choose PYB or Kendall GT1 Max synthetic in 10w30? It will be for 5k mile OCI's, both oils meet my oil spec, and availability is the same. I would like to hear some info on which would keep the motor cleaner, shear stability, and differences in the 30wt thicknesses (is one or the other a more heavy/light 30wt?).
I also have enough Lubegard Biotech to last a lifetime, so that can be added as well.

Thanks guys!!

*No disrespect, but I'm not interested in hearing about or recommendactions for your M1 or PUP, etc.

If not a turbo...

PYB if you like that brand and plan on an oil change no longer than 5K. (Some folks may even extend past that with no issue)
Kendall Syn if you like that brand and plan on 6K+.

If the oil's rating is what's required, you can go with either.

Thank you for the responses so far!!!

So you can get Kendall for the same price as PYB and not have to order it online, then Kendall.
In all honesty, no, I can not. But I did not want price to become a deciding factor. The overall price difference for me is so small, that I do not even worry about it.
Thank you for your vote, I appreciate it.

Kendall for sure then.
Would you guys add the Lubegard to the Kendall (or the PYB) or just run it as is?
No, run it as is, they're designed to have everything you need in the jug.

both are fine. synthetic will have its advantages over conventional. nothing magic about PYB. its just a good oil.
I like synthetics, but it just seems that PYB has great reviews here, plus I have used it in the past and it worked pretty well. I have no experience with the Kendall, but it as well, has good reviews here.
