Just don't get it. No doubt that it's a good oil and it will get the job done. BUT,
Apparently there is no moly, no sodium, no titanium, and little to no boron, and few of UOA/VOAs. It definitely has weak anti-wear additive pack, at least this is what we have seen from used oil analysis so far. Just don't understand what makes Magnatec special for some BITOG'ers.
If someone needs a conventional, Pennzoil Conventional is cheaper and it has good amount of moly in it, along with several good used oil analysis. Or if we are talking about semi synthetics, Valvoline MaxLife is as good as Magnatec, if not better. Also, it is cheaper.
Again, analysis reports don't tell us everything about a oil. Lots of good oils have no moly or boron. Technology is producing better components.
