Wait, I can put a 20195 on a 2AZ?Some shop somewhere has been selling a wide variety of the Purolator Tech filters on Amazon for a while now. I have been using the TL20195 filter on my previously oil-burning Camry for quite a few OCIs. At $2.45 for an oversized filter (for that car) and keeping her at 3,000 mile OCIs, I have absolutely no complaints. The one that I cut open looked solid.
It certainly works on my 2AZ-FE, and I know that I am not the only one since I first read about using them here (I have also used Fram XX3614 and XX3600). The filter gasket is on the outer portion of the base plate, but it fits snug and I have not experienced any leaks. Go go oversized jobber!Wait, I can put a 20195 on a 2AZ?
In place of the YZZF1/F2?
Isn't that just a long 910s/400s?
I believe they’re the same filters. The red are for sale at auto parts stores and the white are meant to be for professional use at oil change shops. Internally the same.Seems the deal is for Purolator Tech filters, and not the standard Purolator red filters.
This is my understanding also -- same thing, different colors. Like DEII believe they’re the same filters. The red are for sale at auto parts stores and the white are meant to be for professional use at oil change shops. Internally the same.
