Hi, I was wondering - what would you guys choose from the above for a 10k filter change (or maybe 12k). I'll be doing an oil change with dino at 5-6k.
The car is a 97 Accord with the F22B2 motor (the basic 4 cyl).
It usually takes me to work 15 miles each way, 40-60 minutes in rush hour traffic, 70% freeway - bumper to bumper. 40F is as cold as it gets around here.
Oil used is Valvoline 5w20 mixed with Mobil Delvac 15w40 in equal amounts.
I would change the filter every oil change if it wasn't such a PITA to get to it; I won't lift the car when just changing the oil.
The PL14459 is smaller than the L20073 but is the PL14459 media more resistant to moisture and such? Would the filtering media in the L20073 degrade and rupture by 10k-12k?
Thanks!

I would stick with the PL14459, 99.9% at 20microns is hard to beat at < $6, but it is a small filter...

Thanks Brenden!
If the car will live enough time (to go through the filters I already have) I might try the bigger PL14619. I have an L14619 that I'll test for fit in 5k miles.
