Can I safely run the pure 1 this distance? Some buzz, this filter restricts oil flow.

M15-30EP

I routinely run a Pure One PL146612 (which is very small in size) 7 to 8.5k mi per oci on my wife's Nissan Rogue and wouldn't hesitate to go 10k.

I would say yes.

Yes if the 10k is accumulated in a timely manner. I'd put somewhere around one year as a loose upper time limit.

I hit 10,000 in 5-6 months.

Has anyone else cut apart a filter after 12,000 miles and found the media slightly torn apart at the end seal? This was a Supertech, though. In a warm climate, the media doesn't have to survive hundreds of high stress cold starts.

I've thought about doing 20k or 2yr changes with PureOne's. I've been doing 1yr 10k the last few years. The PureOne is well built and I hate the thought of wasting a good filter.

I'm looking to do 6-7k OCI's and change filter every other, so filter change at 12-14k with Pure One 20195 (or 10241 if the 20195 is too long). This is on a Mazdaspeed 3, and I drive ~25k a year.

10K miles on a PureOne is easy.

I am finishing up 20K miles (7k OCI, 7k OCI and 6K OCI) on a Purolator Premium Plus filter and I am dying to see how it looks on the inside.

Wow me tooo. Hope you are gonna post pics!

I purchased a couple of PureOne 14610 filters for my 2003 Honda CRV that I will try for the first time. I have used the Premium Plus and the Advanced Auto Total Grip a few times and was satisfied.
