11.2 is dead on for a 30 grade at that temperature....

I believe that Wearcheck shows the viscosity a little bit higher than other labs. I've consistently gotten readings of 10.9 to 11.0 when I used Pennzoil Platinum 5w30 for instance.

Wearcheck doesn't test for insolubles.

Wear was a tiny bit better with PU compared to PP, here is a comparison run of my last OCI, which was also 6900 miles:

Yep, this was my first run with PU, but I will be doing many many more, as I plan on running this oil for quite a while. So it will be interesting to see if the wear numbers change with subsequent intervals or if they stay relatively the same.

Good, i did pick up a few jugs back when on sale to compare it's cleaning ability's to M1,it's a fine oil.

Very good report, seems like PU can be used in your Corvette few thousands miles more.

I'm glad I ordered 4 cases PU (2 cases 10W30 and 2 cases 5W20) from Amazon when they had it on special low price of $17.xx and $19.xx a case couple weeks ago.

PU is a good oil, and definetly made a difference here - Al came down substantially - something I'd been 'worried about' on your engine!

Well the plan is on next OC in the kids sunfire to switch over to PU it was neglected when we got it since then it's seen Mobil 1 High Mileage and is cleaning up pretty good for the time/mileage driven so far,sooo at the change time i'll record the mileage and drive it the same and compare at the end how fast or slow it's been cleaning..

When I saw that lower aluminum number I immediately thought about you!
