Hey @fantastic here is another diesel motor oil for your database.
VOA.webp

5w40.webp

Pretty low in calcium. I recommended this oil to some asking for a cheaper alternative to Supertech.

A bunch of antiwear stuff.

@Blinker Fluid are you going to run this is something?

I'm thinking of using it in our telehandler. It's only used about once a day, and the oil rarely reaches operating temperature. It currently has 15W-40 in it, but since the guys often hop in and floor it, I figure a 5W-40 could help in those situations.

Lower calcium and higher magnesium seems to be the trend now days. I don’t know what would be the benefit of one over the other.
So you’d run it. That’s good as im
Using it in few friends older vehicles. I have 1 gallon left. The daily Focus will get my last jug of ESP DELVAC 5w40 then probably safety Kleen 5w40 since I’m getting a good price break on 4x 1 gallon case

It’s price (Providence 5w40 5w40 ) has went up $2 I notice so glad I got some when I did on sale.

Correct

The 5w40 HDEO though ain’t SP rated only CK4
I was referring to the lower calcium ppm in SP as opposed to SN. Funny that the calcium is low, well within SP range.....but not rated SP. I guess it has to do with other factors, such as ZDDP, being above limits for SP rating.

I wonder if this would be proper for use in a DI gas engine? That would be a great choice for my old 6.2 Diesel....or so my uninformed mind would think.
