Is there a good protectant for clear plastic headlights and taillights? I have used Meguiers PlastX and 303 Aerospace Protectant. PlastX is more of a cleaner/polisher even though it says it protects plastic. 303 is more for colored plastic, vinyl, and rubber. I want to keep the oxidation haze off the plastic as long as possible before I have to buff and polish it again.

I've also had pretty good luck with U-POL after buffing lenses to get the yellow out.

Any car wax that protects/blocks against UV rays.
Been using Diamondite's Clear Plastic Liquid Armor here.
It "Maintains clarity. Repels dirt & moisture. Protects against UV raidation".

That is a film that goes over the lens. I have some on my off-road motorcycle to prevent rock chips. I didn't want a sticky film covering the lights on my daily driver.
The U-POL looks like clear paint, or am I miss reading something.

Any "good" paint sealant will work: Duragloss, Collinite, etc. There's no need to spend money on many dedicated products.
all duragloss products are uv prot...i use plexus then follow up with 303 on my lenses.

Well my lenses are looking good still over two years the last time i wet sanded and buffed them out.

X2 keep them waxed and they will last forever, I wax mine everytime I wax the car, which is monthly
