Props for WeatherTech

I've had the custom WeatherTech floor liners in my SUV for about 5 yrs. Recently they have become very tacky/sticky to the touch. So much so that I didn't want to put them back in after cleaning. So I emailed their customer service with a nicely worded complaint. They quickly responded asking when, where I had purchased them and name and zip code for my purchase. I wasn't sure that I remembered who I got them from but said maybe Carid. They could not find any records so asked me to photograph the numbers stamped on the bottom. The day she got the pic, she came back and said a replacement set was on the way. She explained that one of their past supplier had sent them sub-standard material and that they had a batch of these liners become sticky. They now make their own material here in the US and I should not have that problem again.
I gotta give props to a company that stands behind their products years later with no receipt. And they were honest about it.
So let this influence you if you are considering buying their products.

I had some other accessories of theirs have problems and we have a local place near me and they stood behind it and replaced the product as well. No receipt required. It's why I will continue to buy from them when needed. Good to know they helped you out as well.

Yes, they are pricey when one buys them.

However, it was the best $125 that I've spent on my pickup... no comparison. Even after 13 years of use, there's some scuffs and wear... but they're still 100%.

We sell them in addition to the Ford branded ones and I have to say I have not been impressed by anything Weathertech has sent us. Every set of floor liners I have sold we have had to send back due to them not fitting correctly. This is mostly on Super Dutys so I may be biased. I would except for the price you pay, they would fit perfect but they don't. Its a shame because I really want to support a US business that sponsors racing. But we have had no issues with the made in China Ford ones.

We have purchased WeatherTech and Husky and have been happy with both.

I have used both and both have also served me well.

The things I like most about the current Husky's in my wife's car are, they were cheaper (by a $100 bucks) and they do cover/fit a bit better than the Weathertechs.

Not to take this thread off course, but what Weathertech did honoring their warranty when they likely didn't have to is to be commended.

I have a set of them in my RSX and rinse them off every few months.

Their stuff is absolutely top notch. And it's not any more expensive than anything you would get at the dealer. And they work really hard to keep everything supplied and based in the US. They also have a couple of really cool buildings and a bunch of cars at the Autobahn County Club....

The WeatherTech all weather mat I installed in the i3 fit perfectly and still looks brand new.

Only thing wrong with mine in my truck is that the "Weathertech" emblem came unstuck. No big deal, though.

I think I have WeatherTech in my wife's Camry, but know it's Husky in the truck. Husky was slightly different and had the slight edge in reviews--but I would have bought WT without much thought.

I'm still trying to justify buying a set for my beater Camry, but it's hard to justify them on an old car. New car and it's a no-brainer for me.

So did mine. Check to see if yours are sticky after cleaning them.
