I have a propane tank that was used by a fork lift. There are two connections. One says vapor and the other says liquid. I need to connect to a heater and neither one mates up to my heaters connectors. Which connection should I use the liquid or the vapor? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Ask your propane seller if they can fill it before you get too excited about this.

To the original question, household appliance regulators need vapor. Liquid is for special high flow equipment. Also these tanks are designed to be mounted to a machine on their side, not with the fitting end up.
