I have a question for any mechanics who have worked on Briggs and Stratton engines. I'm trying to order a carb on Amazon and I see most of the production numbers for the engines are 6 digits long.

My Briggs 675E with a 190 CC engine on my Craftsman has the following numbers

11 052756 34567 It's on the tag with the computer scan code
126T021337B1 It's imbossed on a metal tag attached to the engine

Finally there is the Craftsman tag with 944.361161 for a Model number and 053112M 000187 for a serial number

So far I have not seen any of these combinations on Amazon. I see carbs that look similar and I'll probably order one but I'm wondering if I'm missing a number from the engine.

Thanks.

And now for the rest of the story. Thanks everyone for your help. As above, the key number was the one embossed on the metal tag. The Ereplacementparts parts listing was a wealth of information. Unfortunately I couldn't find my exact model which was 126T021337B1. I took the closest number which designated the 799866 and ordered a carb from Amazon.ca . Unfortunately, it was the carb for a unit with a choke plate. Mine used a plastic bulb to prime the carb. The correct number for the carb with no choke plate is 799868. I ordered that one and it was mailed to me from China. The "brand name" was Huri. Here is a shot of the carbs. The middle one is the original. The one on the left is the carb suitable for a choke version. The one on the right was the correct replacement and is used with a primer bulb. Because it was my mistake, the company from China gave me 50% back ($12.50 CD. ) and asked me to keep the incorrect carb rather than me mailing it back to China. Sounded OK to me. Bolted the correct carb up. Gassed it up and it started right away. Thanks for your kind attention.
