Problems with Purolator filters

I use a Puro filter #LF35495. It is for the Isuzu NPR diesels. I use about 35 of these a month on one of my fleets. Well, in the last 2 weeks I have had 3 bad filters. Leaking right at the crimp. I am also using a Fleetgaurd filter. I am having pretty good luck with this filter.

I would contact Purolator. It is my guess that they will want to see acouple of these filters if you saved them, and will more than likely replace them for you.

wow its amazing how calm this is when its purolator, if it was fram there would be bashing left right and center

How true. A good reputation and good construction buys you some slack.

For that kind of application, I'd stick with the Fleetguard, Donaldson, Baldwin, Wixs brands.

Since you say you use a lot and the problem has been recent my guess is that you've found a bad batch. I've never seen a filter leak around the crimp, but anything's possible.
