For you guys who wear prescription glasses, do you find that the A/R coatings most places offer are completely worthless? I properly wash my glasses in the sink with mild soap and water so they don't get scratched, and every pair of glasses I've ever had, the A/R coating won't even last a year. My new glasses aren't even 6 months old and the coating is becoming hazed and micro scratched where my eye lashes sometimes tough the lens. The rip off place I bought them from won't warranty them or anything, so I found another lab that removed the coating for free and it's like I have a new set of Eagle eyes now! The glare is a bit worse at night, but there are no longer any reflections on the back of the lens. I think it's better without them; it's more clear.
Anyone else ran into this? I think it's a complete ripoff to get people to buy new glasses every year.
