Pro Honda 10w-30 JASO MA VOA

Not if you're in the U.S. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (1975) prohibits mandatory product brands to keep a warranty in effect, as long as the product is capable it's fine.
He ain't in the US of A.... it's a non negotiable item where he is in Europe, apparently.

I have noticed that some Honda dealers also fill 10W40. Even if the main bearing clearance as well as the connecting rod bearing absolutely matches a 10W30, a 10W40 could also be a good option. There are good synthetic as well as fully synthetic oils according to German law. 😎

In Germany, oils may only be described as fully synthetic if they are produced exclusively from group 4 and group 5 base oils. All other oils must not bear this designation.

Here is the first UOA of this oil after just under 700 kilometres. At mileage 1000, the prescribed oil change was carried out with this oil. Already here you can see how the VI has dropped compared to the fresh oil. The element concentrations say nothing, but lowering the viscosity at 100C is not exactly great with the short operating time. I think I will bet on an oil with stable polymers and slightly increased viscosity.
