PRIME GUARD POF 1403 CUT OPEN

This filter was off a friends 2020 Chevy Equinox 1.4 engine. Unknown miles but OLM was at 77%

Had Providence 0w20 Synthetic oil in also. Put some CarQuest Synthetic 0w20 from the clearance few years ago and a AC DELCO filter in and on. 50,113 on vehicle

Looks like a great product.

I’d say for what they are or $1-2.99 filter at Rural King; a good 5-7,500 oci filter. I ran the POF 241 on my old Focus SE I had without issues.

I used to see a lot of DURAMAX filters at work. They were similar to this brand.

I say “I am still employed and not on drugs or in jail”.

My thoughts: well, I say Prime Guard and Premium Guard, Hastings, Federated and Fram are good filters. Purolators have gottten better since the “tear o later days”. I cut hundreds of those apart also.

The Motorcraft oil filters currently don’t instill confidence. Used to be rock solid.

Napa stuff seems to be or decent quality. I probably will throw a Prime Guard POF 241 on the Focus in next month with some Valvoline Syn 5w30 or Miles Lubricants synblend 5w30.

I service 3 TSX K24, '15 Oddy, '13 Civic, '15 Altima. I use the XG7317 or M1 110A for these.
I service 2 Lexi and 2 Toyota cars; I just use the delaer filters. Other cars I just buy as needed. Services are for family and friends.

I do 5K OCIs with the MityVac swapping the filter every 2nd or 3rd service.
Any filter recommendations?

I like that you’re using the XG filters. If you weren’t I’d recommend the fram Tough Guard for 2 possibly 3 OCI’s as I have
