Looking for a one size fits all coolant for my fords if it even exists. I believe the Prestone with core guard should be great for my 2011 and 2017 F150s but is it safe and recommended to replace the green IAT in my 96 Mustang?

I have used Preston’s AMAM in my Fords for many years and they came with Green coolant. In my 1997 Explorer it has the Prestone in it currently and I have not had any issues.

Prestone Cor-Guard actually is Ford/Motorcraft Yellow OEM coolant now, and it might have even been OE on your 2017 F150.

Ford Yellow directly replaces orange (Deathcool), so if your 2011 came with orange, you can switch to yellow.

You don't want to use it in your Mustang that uses IAT silicate green. Thankfully, Peak and Zerex still make that old green. You can probably get away with using G-05 (Ford Gold) in that car.

I just don't want to change the coolant every time I fill the gas up! She (96 Mustang) only sees about a tank or two of gas per year so I'd like a coolant that offers maximum longevity.
