Pressure washer question.

I have a 4200 psi, 4 gpm pressure washer. Would there be an issue if I was to hook it up to a 4000 psi max surface cleaner. If not getting a 4000 psi surface cleaner I would have to go up to a 4500 psi unit at almost double the price

Surface Cleaner. Just want to know if there would be an issue with a 4000 psi unit at the end of a 4200 psi machine.

I don't think that would be an issue. I'd rather have it close to the max rather than over. Otherwise, you're paying for capabilities you can't use.

I agree. Chances are all the specs are estimated or inflated anyway.

You can always adjust the pressure a couple of turns on pump. But I don’t think it matters either wa.
