I have a three year old Craftsman PW with a B&S engine. I take good care of the engine oil and treat the gas with StayBil, and also use pump saver every time I use the PW. Will this help pro long the pumps life? I am also careful not to let the engine run without water flowing through the pump.

Yes, it will both lubricate the pump and displace any water that is in the pump while it is being stored.
Good stuff. Have used it for years (and a can should be good for quite a while, depending on how often you use your unit.)

All I know is from a guy that has a power washing business . I was told to use 90 wt gear oil in the pump and change the engine and pump oil regularly. He makes a living with his washers so what can I say. I have a 4,000 psi unit with a 13 hp engine. I keep it inside so it does't freeze and don't let the pump run dry. No after lube or stabil 14 years and no problems.

I just realized I've never changed the pump oil on my 3000psi unit....

I don't think I've ever even seen a grain plug for it
