Pressure Washer Nozzle Set

Got a 3.0 GPM 3000 PSI Pressure washer. Went to Amazon and getting all kinds reviews. Need 1/4 Pressure Nozzles. What do you recommend? Also, which degree should I use for pressure washing my deck and my car? I'm assuming they may be different. I have been using green for both in the past.

For deck and car go for a wider pattern like maybe 25 degree and start with some distance between the tip and the surface until you know how powerful your washer is on that particular surface.

40 degree for body paint. 25 might be okay for wheels and other tough parts but be careful to only hold it as close as needed to knock the dirt off.

25 degree on a 1.8 gpm / 2000 psi unit did a great job on our wood back steps, but at 3gpm and 3000 psi, you might start tearing off paint and eating into the wood. 15 degree strips paint and carves into wood, whereas a 0 degree jet tears holes through wood and asphalt.

General rule for cleaning is use the least aggressive action/chemical/tool that gets the job done, so start with wide nozzle and lower pressure settings and work your way up as needed.

Are any brand of nozzles better than others?

I'm not sure what the proper name is but I absolutely love the rotary nozzles. They spray a tight pinpoint giving the most power but spin around like a sprinkler so they cover a large area. Fantastic on concrete and anything that really needs a deep clean.
