My grandmother uses her cell phone to talk to family and friends a lot, so se has unlimited minutes on Verizon.
My grandfather never uses his cell phone, he only has it for emergencies or flat tires. He had me cancel his Verizon cell phone and get him a Tracfone. It's $20 for 3 months (less than $7 a month) and I believe is 120 minutes for 3 months. You reload it on Tracfone's website. Just type in the phone number and your credit card number and it reloads immediately. Or you can buy a new card from Walgreens or Walmart.
