Looks good at 6500 miles. In my observation of posted anecdotes pretty typical results for these. Looks like made sometime 2021. Sealing gasket silicone but OG design.

Thanks for c&p.

Why do these come out mint and others look like they’ve been ran over coming off the ramps 😵‍💫

I don't recall any Premium Guard made filters every look bad ... maybe a few slightly wavy and/or uneven pleats, but nothing what I'd call "ran over".

25 micron at 99% is questionable as somewhere else they state very different micron ratings…
Also, not sure I am fan of “made in Vietnam”
But they do look good when cut!

The two efficiencies seen are 99%@25 iso 4548-12 and 99.5%@20(both great). After some serious digging on PG XL made filters both of these are actually correct. I completely understand the Vietnam concern. Unfortunately the quality of most USA made filters has tanked, accompanied by a price increase.

I looked up my filter, and while it mentions numbers you quoted, in the detailed spec.

Please explain what micron 42-60 means

Several of us have emailed PG for an explanation. No response. My opinion is it’s the OEM spec which PG exceeds in this case. As a rule I personally look for ISO 4548-12.
