Well, the last filter I cut for the night. Off of a friend of the brothers 2008 Chevy Tahoe. Had this and I believe some M1 5w30 for 7,500 miles. Put on a FRAM ULTRA and some M1 AP 5w30 I acquired in a trade.

Thank You sir. ADBV was like Puro 14459: hard as a rock🤬
Yep, they always are. Its; funny because the standard PG filter has the worst ADBV in it but their extended life filter has the best one I've ever seen.
It's almost gummy it's so soft. I ran a PG on a zero turn for 100 hours once. I cut the filter and squeezed the ADBV to see if it was still flexable. It broke in half!

It looks good ... but ADBV hard as a rock isn't good. Any filter should be able to take 7,500 miles so they must be using some rubber that doesn't take heat well.

I'm using PG filters that I bought from Rock Auto on my '16 Versa. I bought a dozen of them shortly after buying the car in Feb. 2019. Total cost was $2. per filter including shipping. Reviews on PG filters were good so I figured why not. I've probably used worse filters over the 45 years I've been driving and never had a problem.

We use the Premium Guard filters that are KIA/Hyundai clones on Kia and Hyundai’s without issue at work
