Hey this is my first off topic post so here goes
I am almost 26 and getting Prelex surgery on Thursday. Basically this is cataract surgery without a cataract. They are replacing my lens. My right eye has always been horrible to the point that there are not glasses or contacts powerful enough to get it above 20/200 best corrected. My eye is -18.5 diopters so Lasik and PRK were out of the question. What I want to know is has anyone had this done, is lens replacement a more natural looking view than glasses/contacts, when they say they are going to put me under IV sedation (twilight) does that mean I wont remember a thing, also how long does some, if any, discomfort last after the surgery?
