Sneaky labeling. It actually doesn't say 5W30 and says: does not meet warranty requirements. Only dumb people would buy it. Although the Made in USA could confuse a lot buyers.

Second thought: it has a lot of silicon. Could it be the same solution used in the cash for clunkers? If so, It could be a stealth cash for clunkers 2.0.

Made in USA doesn't warranty quality !

Made in Japan and/or Europe and import into USA almost never had bad quality, especially oil, ATF ...
 
Just curious......how do products like this even get to store shelves? I know around here Dollar General sells their store brand swill that, "isn't suitable for cars manufactured after 1988".

Low price, lack of knowledge on motor oils, lack of money. These oils are often found in low income areas where people tend to buy based on price.

In addition, the majority of smaller oil companies with unfamiliar names produce excellent quality oils and offer choice and value to consumers.
