My engines have all been noisier with PP until the cam lobes wear off...then nice & quiet...can't even hear them running..

I felt what you felt when i switched my 07 civic from conventional to Mobil 1
I just filled my '07 Tacoma with 6 Qts. of Pen.Plat. and an oversized Moblil filters. I had Castrol Syntec in before and PP has quieted the engine down. There is no doubt that the Toyota Tick is gone. Now, lets see if it holds up.
