My Grandma has a powermore push mower that is on year 7, it still runs like new & gets the job done, it is reliable, it isn't nothing fancy, but for the price it was a good buy.
I've had the 208cc snow engine and currently have the 357cc snow engine. No issues other than a leaky carb gasket on one. They start on the first pull without issue. Oil looks great every spring when I change it. My blower with the 357cc is a 2012 model year, so yeah I'd say reliability has been good. The 208 was on a 26" blower so it was definitely underpowered, but my current 30" pretty much never bogs.Update. The 357 Powermore takes a quart of oil. On our community rink, it’s a beast. Can’t comment on longevity as it’s only used 10 days per year.
By the way Intellipower apparently has a digital controller on the throttle that will increase power by up to 20% if it senses bogging.
Posting number #26 mentions Yamaha snowblowers. I have seen plenty of Honda snow blowers up here but never a Yamaha. Here’s a pick from Yamaha. Mods, I did a screen shot to show what they look like. Apparently tracks are standard on Yamahas.
