Power Steering Tech: What happened to me?

Okay quick sitrep:

A)Made sharp left 180 turn from stand still at 1500rpm.

B)Midway I hear this ugly screeching sound from under hood.

C)Next 15minutes while i waited at a to go line I had Zero Power Steering assist.

D)Get home on driveway next day is a big puddle of power steering fluid mixed with what looked like factory sealer green stuff (not coolant lol! orange G-05 in radiator)

E) Power steering resevoir is low corresponding to the loss

F)However car is steering fine.

G) Will go to shop for check Monday

Theories to what happened? I suspect the force may have blown a long leaking/weak seal in the PS Pump?

Or will I need a rack and pinion replaced too?

Anyway, this is good...now it is an ideal time to change to Synethetic PS fluid or ATF, with new hoses and one of those micro in line filters

Belt slipped. Turning the wheel without the pump recirculating the fluid displaced fluid and returned it to an already full sump. Said sump deposited excess fluid on your driveway.

Why your belt returned to functional from non-functional is beyond me.
