My computer kind of keeps going off when I am doing other things, and this computer is a pain to get back on. So, I kind of set it at 30 minutes, the recommendation is 5 minutes, that will not work. This is a computer that is always plugged in at my house, is 30 minutes cool? I can be reading something here and all of a sudden, the computer goes off. You guys know what is like, you read something, and you just sit back and go what. When you get out of the fog, the computer has gone off.

When I went into the Computer Setting, it was at 5 minutes!

I have one PC set up a a Plex Media Server, Running Win 11 "headless",ie: no monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc. I get into it via remote desktop, or to add files it's got drives mapped to my main desktop PC.
to keep the "server" from doing what you're describing, I had to download the "windows power toys" suite, and use the "Power Toys Awake" program.
I keep it set to "keep awake indefinitely" and there's always a little Coffee cup icon in the system tray.

Here my 0.02.
Desktops: screen timeout is usually 15-25 mins; sleep: never
Laptops: something like this, whatever works for you

I have my personal pc set to never/never. Work laptops are set to 30min screen lock and 1hr sleep and work desktops set to 30min lock/never sleep.
