I see we post seasonal tire changes in many topics not related to that particular “activity.”
I just swapped tires on wife’s Tiguan.
Off: Bridgestone Blizzak WS90 215/65 R16.
On: Michelin Pilot AS3+ 235/50 R18. They have this season left.

Same as last season, and the season before that. In fact, same as all 4 of our seasons. Guess thats why they are called "all-season" 😁.

Seriously, our seasons are rather mild and they perform well enough for us. Plus there are times when I got caught off guard with summer tires on and temps dropped for a couple days that it was kinda scary. I'd have to swap tires so much that I'd look like the new guy at a Costco tire shop.

Never had summer tyres that didn't perform well in the dry, no matter how cold. But I guess it's possible

I've been through three (?) sets of Dunlop Wintersports on my Cobalt. I drive a lot, especially in the winter. I wish those steel wheels were still as pristine as in this picture!

I have Blizzaks for my Honda Fit. They were the only kind I could get without special ordering.

Three season:
- Front: Michelin PSS 225/40-18
- Rear: Michelin PSS 245/35-18
Winter:
Front and rear: Vredestein Quadtrac Pro 225/45/18.

Those would be road legal track tyres. They are legal but not good on the road. try it with ps4 or 5
No, they would not. They are Max Performance Summer tires. PS4S is basically the successor of PSS. PSS was standard on numerous cars such as BMW 535i, 335i. What you're referring to is the Pilot Sport Cup.
But I had numerous max, UHP, or regular summer tires in Europe, such as Bridgestone Turanza ER300 etc., where all-season tires are rare, especially at that time when I was living there. They simply do not work in cold well.

Toyota’s turn:
Off: Continental VikingContact 7.
On: Michelin Defender LTX M/S.

These are new to me wheels with tires I pitched on Facebook. They have thread for this summer (two 7/32, two 6/32).
But what really goes on my nerves is this Toyota TPMS system. We can’t figure out sensors on wheels as it is not registered to this car, so I have to purchase new. This stupidity is actually an achievement!
