To get the most of the glitter out, don't wait 10 minutes. The glitter starts to settle in the bottom of the engine. Or, at least start the engine back up for 30 seconds and then drain right away while the big stuff is still suspended in the oil.Generac GP6700E
This is the second “break-in” oil change at 5.5 hours. First OCI was at 3.5hrs with the included quart of 30W Generac oil. That oil was full of shiny glitter. I hit 5.5hrs today using my shop vac to clean out our vehicles floorboards and after letting it cool for ten or so minutes, I drained it and I noticed a small amount of glitter this go’round.
Out: one quart of Quaker State 5W-30 Conventional

Out / Off: 2 quarts 15w-40 Rotella T6 @ 32 hours and Fram TG3614 with 64 hours
In / On: 2 quarts Mobil 1 High Mileage 10w30 and Fram TG3614
