Post your latest small engine oil change

Harbor freight 4375 25hrs on amsoil HDD 5w30. Power back on now so changed it to be ready for the next event.
Used the last of my HDD, topped the rest of the way up with Castrol 5w-40.

Magnetic stick looks good minimal ferrous collected. Oil looked amber and clean. Might could go longer, but she only holds 20 oz.

I'm thinking next fill to be HPL premium plus 0w40 that I have left over from the truck.

Got this go cart from a friend for $100, 6.75 Briggs. Cleaned the carb, new spark plug, air filter and drained whatever black gunk was in it and filled it up with some Castrol Actevo 10W40 4T oil. This oil quickly turned black so Im thinking of filling the crankcase with Seafoam and letting it sit a few days. Otherwise runs great and my 31 year old self is having a blast on it. 🤟🤟🤟😂😂😂

Does the fresh oil smell like raw gasoline mixed into it? That'll make fresh oil turn black from my experience. Possibly a leaking carburetor float needle? I'd try to install a fuel shutoff valve between the gas tank and the carburetor if its leaking. That cart was a nice find.

Troy Built rider 17.5 hp Kohler engine. Out unknown but probably Castrol 20W50 semi synthetic since I had that left from last year. In: Castrol 20W50 semi synthetic. Ya gotta change it on the street in case it drips a little......then you can blame it on the leaky garbage truck cylinders hahahaha.

Older Honda HRX self propelled. About 50 hours of Summer cutting.

In: Leftover Fuchs Silkolene 5W-40 mixed with a few ounces of leftover HPL SAE 30 Cleaning Oil.
Maybe I should do a Farm video of before and after HPL on the rockers. Nawww. We all know it's going from clean to spotless.

Brand new GXV160 powered Mower - First oil change
Out: Amsoil 30WT Break-in oil (6 minutes)
In: the same.

Interesting to see that white stuff in the oil. I had the same material come out of my Honda powered generator on its first change.

Otherwise, lots of metal flakes. Ran it under load (even stalled a few times by cutting too low!) for a hard break in. Did 3 oil changes across about 35 minutes of operation. Definitely less metal by the third change.

Deere Z375R 215hours
Out: Chevron Delo XSP 15w40 Wix 51348
In: the same
The new Wix filter ordered off Amazon had the Purolator oval holes base plate. Will probably be using a different filter since the change going forward.

2003 Craftsman (MTD) Leaf Vacuum w/ Briggs Quantum
Out: Rotella T6 0W-40 CJ-4
In: Delo 400LE 5W40 CJ-4
Bought it this summer used, the well that was in it when I bought it was pretty dark, I've used it maybe another 5 to 10 hours, and it was already starting to get kind of dark again, so I figured I'd just go ahead and change it to get any crud that was left in there from the previous owner out.
